The Coming of Jesus

A thousand generations, A million generations.
He was here, He is here, He IS COMING!

He is for you, He is for us.
He is for everyone,
He is the Salvation,
He is the perfector of our faith,
He is the truth, the way, and the life.

Eternally,
He is our glory, He is the chosen one.
He is our King!

Prayer Extract: ♰

I can’t answer for you, but I will answer for me and maybe that will help you find your answer. I cry when I feel connected to God because that is a very intimate and moving experience and feeling. I cry when I pray, when I read the Bible, in the mornings when I do my devotions, and in church during worship and on occasion during the message. In all of those situations, I feel deeply connected to God and can’t help but cry. Not out of sadness, but out of reverence. The tears are a form of worship. They convey things I feel that I cannot find the words to express. They express my love for Him and respond to His love for me.

It's late at night as I'm writing this.
It's Good Friday.
It's Easter Weekend.
It's the rise of Christ, It's the time of Resurrection.
Jesus, may it be.
Jesus, may you come.
Jesus, may you save us.

Eternally yours,
Our salvation, strength, and stronghold.
Now and forevermore.
For me, for me.
For our friends, For our family, For our loved ones,
And all who matter to us.

Forever and ever, Amen.

Feeling 2022!

"I don't know about you,

But I'm feeling 2022

Everything will be alright if

You keep me next to you"

Well, if you didn't already know this, I turned 30 officially just last month.

Yeap, 30. 🙈

For some of you, you're probably married by 30.

For others, you probably had two kids already and planning for your third child.

Back then, I wanted to get married by 27, I guess it didn't happen. Simple as that, or my destiny awaits.

Will we see through the dissapointments and misfortune the world with the best version of ourselves?

Setting an achievable goal? Hitting an impossible bullseye? Or completing a bucketlist?

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

The best thing I've learned from my TEFL/TESOL course

To be honest, I have taken the online version of the TEFL/TESOL course and also the offline version of the TESOL course. There are many differences between having a physical teacher conducting actual lessons in class, rather than just doing it online.

Since I have actually done both, I can give my fair share of experience from learning the basics of English teaching with the TEFL/TESOL course. First of all, English is a universal language and we ought to know that it is the language that could give us the gateway to many opportunities in the world. It will give us a different worldview, help us experience life in a different way, and make us a better person.

Not only that, the online TEFL/TESOL course especially from ITTT is very comprehensive and detailed. It covers all the basics including grammar, vocabulary, classroom management, and conversational English. There are much deeper areas to focus on as well, as children look up to TEFL/TESOL lecturers mostly in speech, attitude. TEFL/TESOL teachers will impact the personal growth of the children and form a solid foundation in their lives be it from a teaching perspective or a life growth.

I have also been a teacher in Brazil and China previously, two places with very contrasting cultures. In Brazil, they live life on the brink of poverty, yet with such a cheerful and appreciation of life in front of them. It is indeed a value that most of us can take heart when facing our perceived hardship in life. The fact is there’s someone out there hustling every single day all in the name of survival. With my TEFL/TESOL course, I think I would be better prepared to tackle the issues that non-native speakers face in learning a language.

Being an English teacher in China is a different experience for me. It gave me a different outlook on some things, as the goal of learning English for some of these children or young adults is to achieve high scores or distinctions in school. The level of competition in China is really high, with parents sending their children to learn a new language from as young as two years old. When we do the drilling of a new language for children at such a young age, it opens up parts of the brain that has not been explored before.

In most cases, Teaching English to children is a very rewarding experience and very different from teaching a young adult. For kids, it is important to learn in a fun and interactive way, through teaching tools, flashcards, or even dancing videos. Most of the time, we can see that young learners are willing to participate and not afraid of making mistakes, they are never shy about pronouncing new words or look silly when something goes wrong.

The value of the TEFL/TESOL course is the fact that it gives the teacher an idea to do lesson planning, class interaction skills, and how to handle unruly students. These are English teaching techniques that we can use to help to make the class-flow better, also making sure that the materials and class delivery sticks to the core and essence of TEFL and TESOL.

At the end of the day, the goal is the reach out to anyone willing to learn the English language and improve their language skills with it. With TEFL and TESOL, this gives us a head start and also a chance to learn how to be a better tutor and learner. We were once learners and students of the English language as well, you shall live in the shoes of your students and understand the essence and core value of being a teacher yourself, this will only happen when you start teaching! Never take the role of being a TEFL/TESOL teacher lightly, we never know when what we do today will affect someone’s life tomorrow.

Some say love

Dear Rose,

Some say love,
It is a river,
Some say love,
Is where your heart is.
Some say love,
It is a fruit.
Some say love,
It is just a feeling.

Some say,
You will never find the one you love,
Some say,
Love is a distant thought.
Never giving,
Never waiting.

As I sit here,
As I pray,
As I try to love again,
I hope that someone is waiting,
Far far away.

I will tell you this,
I have never,
I have never loved,
The way I loved another,
The way I loved you.

Will I ever love again,
Will, I will ever be that person,
To find true love again.

They say time heals everything,
They say let the river run its course,
They say be brave,
She's right there,
Waiting for you.

The rose of life,
The thorns you must bear.

Sincerely,
Yours

Snow White & Her Evil Twin

Little little girl,
Her name was snow white,
She chose,
A life that wasn’t meant for her.

In that little village,
She lived alone and away,
Far far away from that castle,
Where the evil queen lived.

Mirror mirror on the wall,
Who’s the fairest of them all?
Mirror mirror on the wall,
What are the writings on the wall?

“Take me,” she said,
Take me to Lohr am Main,
Take me the dark seas of Terabithia,
To a place, you call home.

An apple a day,
A liar and a huntsman,
Poisonous and Primitive,
All in one.

Evil and Kindness,
Choose a side,
Stand your ground,
One last straw,
the battle had just begun.

Leaving Beijing Like Its California

It's been great, it's been wonderful but it wasn't easy.

The past one and a half years in Beijing made me learn, made me look, and made me a better human to strive for a better future.
The reason I came to China in the first place was to trace back my ancestry, to learn more about my own culture and the Chinese language. At this point, I would say I succeeded partially in doing so.
First of all, working in China is not plain-sailing, lovey-dovey, happy-go-lucky. You really need to go down to work, grind day in day out, learn the ins and outs of the society, before assimilating in this culture. How do the Chinese do it? Who knows?

That is why China is one of the world's biggest powerhouses today, with annual spite of 6.6% (13.4 trillion a year) in growth.

I moved to Chengdu recently, away from the hustle and bustle of Beijing, away from endless sleepless nights, away from unstable lifestyle and jobs, away from bad smog, away from it.
A new start, a new beginning, a new chance to mend my mistakes, to take a step back and do what's meaningful and right.

To all that have loved and accepted me:

Graciously we come,
Quietly we go,
In the midst of it all,
Day and Night,
We sing and we pray
for a better day.

Until that day,
Where the light shines upon the twigs,
Where the grasshopper and the mantis,
Vie for one last opportunity,
c'est la vie.

Carpe Diem like it's your last day.

Never lose sight of what you want in life.

O Momento

Foi só te olhar
Pra eu me apaixonar
Foi quando eu pisquei
E já não me via sem você
Não é comum
Sete bilhões no mundo em um
Deus me atendeu
Pedi por paz, ganhei você
Sorri, vai
Deixa eu ver
Amor, tudo em você é lindo
Tudo é motivo pra agradecer
Sorri, vai
Deixa eu ver
Amor, Deus foi tão bom comigo
Pedi por paz, ganhei você
Sorri, vai
Deixa eu ver
Amor, tudo em você é lindo
Tudo é motivo pra agradecer
Sorri, vai
Deixa eu ver
Amor, Deus foi tão bom comigo
Pedi por paz, ganhei você
Casa comigo?
Mil vezes sim
Sorri, vai
Deixa eu ver
Amor, tudo em você é lindo
Tudo é motivo pra agradecer

Sorri, vai
Deixa eu ver
Amor, Deus foi tão bom comigo
Pedi por paz, ganhei você
Brigado gente!
Nossa foi lindo isso meu Deus!
É, obrigado Wteiksom
Brigado, brigado
Queria uma salva de palmas pro Wteiksom
Que fez esse arranjo em
Sei lá quanto tempo
É, então, eu já agradeci um pouco o pessoal que veio

'As pessoas que a gente mais ama
Com certeza estão aqui hoje'
